Stilo International (LSE:STL) today announced the appointment of Phillip Barratt to the role of Business Development Manager, XML Content Processing Solutions.
Educated at the University of Central England to Postgraduate Level in Psychology, Sociology and Computer Sciences, Phill started his career as a developer/project manager with Thomson Corporation. He subsequently worked for Software AG as en XML enterprise integration consultant; SoftQuad, where he was responsible for strategic accounts management; Corel, as director of XML content solutions and Blast Radius, director of enterprise solutions. Phill was most recently director of sales and marketing, EMEA, with XML content management system vendor, Ovidius.

In his new role, Phill will be focused on the promotion of advanced content conversion solutions based upon Migrate and OmniMark technologies, into the publishing and technical documentation sectors. This includes managing partnerships with content management system vendors and systems integrators, providing custom solutions for legacy data conversion, content aggregation, and content repurposing to support enterprise publishing applications.
