Maintenance

Maintenance for OmniMark is offered on a yearly basis. The first year of maintenance is purchased when you initially purchase OmniMark. Customers are strongly encouraged to renew their maintenance each year for as long as they continue to use OmniMark. Maintenance is essential to maintaining an ongoing relationship with Stilo and to ensuring full and immediate access to the latest product information, maintenance releases, and support services. An up-to-date maintenance agreement provides a number of important benefits, as documented below.

Maintenance Releases

From time to time Stilo issues maintenance releases and minor upgrades to the OmniMark software. These releases may introduce new features or fix problems discovered in earlier versions. Maintenance customers will be entitled to receive all maintenance releases and minor upgrades free of charge.

Discounts on Upgrades

From time to time, Stilo releases major upgrades to its software. Major upgrades are indicated by a change in version number and they include major improvements to the functionality of the software. Maintenance customers will receive a significant discount on major release upgrades.

Version Protection Maintenance

Stilo also offers a maintenance plan that includes a free upgrade to the next major version. For customers eager to leverage the latest capabilities in the OmniMark content processing platform, this plan is available as a three year contract. Our professional specialists provide technical support and advice to assist customers with the correct operation of OmniMark. Support can be accessed by phone or by email

Developers Resource Website

With an up-to-date maintenance agreement, customers gain access to the premium content section of the OmniMark Developer's Resources website. The Developers web site contains an ever-growing body of technical material, which includes:

  • Full online documentation for all OmniMark products, updated whenever required
  • Documentation for older versions of OmniMark
  • Tips and techniques articles written by OmniMark developers and members of the OmniMark R&D team
  • Sample OmniMark scripts

License Transfers

Customers with valid maintenance can transfer the license of any OmniMark software product from one machine to another within their company, by submitting a license transfer request, found at http://developers.omnimark.com/services/
