# p.book.organization.administrativearea

## Syntax

**p.book.organization.administrativearea**

## Purpose

The p.book.organization.administrativearea annotation is used to tag an element as being the province, state, county, or other national subregion in an organization’s address. This annotation applies a tag which adds the element to the DITA bookmap’s metadata.
