Bryan TipperChief Executive Officer

Bryan brings a successful track record of over 15 years in high-profile leadership positions in the high-tech and software industries. He is responsible for driving international sales and marketing initiatives at Stilo, and possesses a demonstrated history of growing businesses quickly using ambitious sales approaches. Along with his competitive desire to succeed, Bryan brings creative and effective marketing techniques, strong technical skills, and an extensive knowledge of developing and nurturing loyal customer-bases.

Prior to joining Stilo, he closed key accounts for Micro-Metric leading to its acquisition by VIEW Engineering in 2005, and recently led software developer, Optiwave Systems, to all time revenue highs.

Bryan holds a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics with a minor in Computer Science from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.

Jackson KleinCTO

Jackson brings more than 20 years of providing technical leadership, strategic direction and oversight for successful planning and execution of all stages of R&D, product development and lifecycle. He is responsible for developing and championing Stilo’s technology strategy across all functions of the organization and contributing to Stilo’s long term vision alongside the executive team.

Prior to joining Stilo, Jackson managed and led R&D teams to develop and successfully launch software products in the field of design, simulation and analysis of photonic integrated circuits, communication systems and networks.

Jackson Klein holds a M.S and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from State University of Campinas, Brazil and an MBA from the University of Ottawa.

Leslie BurnhamChairman and Non-Executive Director

Following an initial spell in corporate planning at Mobil Oil, Les has spent his entire career in the IT industry, holding a variety of business development and executive management positions at ICL, Prime Computer and RM.

At RM, he was responsible for achieving rapid sales growth from £11 million to £40 million over a four-year period and subsequently founded his own company, pioneering ebooks and multimedia publishing in North America and Europe. Experienced in venture capital backed technology start-ups, he spearheaded Stilo’s IPO in 2000 and has since led the company’s acquisition and growth strategy in the XML content processing market. Les holds a B.Sc.Jnt Hns in Mathematics/Operational Research obtained from Leeds University and undertook an MBA programme at Cranfield School of Management.

David AshmanNon-Executive Director

David held various accounting positions at Unilever, Reeds International, Letraset, Borg Textiles and Marley before joining Bowater Paper Group where he became Finance Director. It was there that he was a key member of the management team which carried out an MBO from Bowaters, subsequently floating the company on the London Stock Exchange and accepting a bid two years later valuing the Company at £300 million.
